Richard Camp, Operating Partner

Richard has been involved in fitness most of his life.  His participation in high school and college sports gave him the foundation to build on.  In college, Richard worked towards a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in English with a minor in Philosophy.  Shortly after college, Richard joined the U.S. Army where the combination of good physical condition and education allowed him to be a great soldier.  Once the Army life was over, Richard turned to what was natural for him….fitness.  Since that time Richard has been making a strong case for being one of the best and most sought after fitness professionals in the area, winning many industry awards and accolades along the way.  He is also an award winning bodybuilder.  Richard recently completed his CROSSFIT Level 1 Certification.

Sonny Jordan, Partner/Performance Specialist

Robert "Sonny" Jordan is a certified personal trainer.  He has been interested in the body since his uncle introduced him to comic books.  His artistic eye saw how the body could be changed by exercising and lifting weights. He began training as a young teenager and has maintained focus. Sonny has done powerlifting, explosive training, and strength training. Strengthening and sculpturing his body enhanced his ability to play soccer for 20 years, wrestling, and boxing for 6 years.  Sonny has a BA in Visual Arts.  He has also done fitness modeling.  Sonny volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and at an Atlanta homeless mission.

James Lewis, Partner, Performance Specialist

James Lewis has been involved in fitness throughout his life.  It started when his cousin came home from the military and every weekend he would do military training with all the young boys in the neighborhood.   This style of training motivated James and taught him the work ethic needed to push him and others to higher levels of fitness.  James has been involved with football, baseball, basketball, and track; in addition, he coached basketball and baseball.  James has been doing personal training for over ten years.

Meet the Coaches

 

Stevy Duke is Crossfit Kettlebell Ceritfied Instructor.  He has been working with kettlebells for over four years.  In addition to his Crossfit Kettlebell Certification, Stevy obtained his World Kettlebell Fitness Certification in August of 2009. 

 

Lisa Taylor is an AFFA Certified Personal Trainer, and a NESTA Functional Trainer.  She is CPR certified for both adults and children.  She is soon to be certified as a Crossfit Olympic Lifting Instructor.  Lisa has over 15 years of fitness experience.  She’s a former Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader and High School Cheerleading Coach.

 

Jeremy Payne has always been active in sports.  He played baseball for 13 seasons, played football for 13 seasons, wrestled for 4 years on the high school team.  The training and discipline that came with participation in these sports inspired Jeremy to go further in his athletics and seek a profession as a personal trainer.  Recently Jeremy received his first of many professional training certifications.  He is currently enrolled in Gainesville State College majoring in Exercise Science.     

 

James Burns is new to the Pro Performance Team.  He is certified as a Crossfit running Instructor.
